In town

The towns of Winter Park and Fraser have everything that you might need. Fraser is only about three miles north of Winter Park and everything is accessible via a free Shuttle Bus service should you not have a car or just chose not to use it. Within Winter Park itself are several ski and bike equipment sales and rental companies. You may find that it is more convenient to rent your equipment in town rather than deal with the crowds at the ski area rental facilities. There  are numerous restaurants with just about any kind of menu that you might desire as well as a convenience store, post office and a small movie theatre nearby. Fraser has a well stocked Safeway with Starbucks and pharmacy, a discount department store, package stores and hardware store.

In the winter, you can enjoy downhill and cross country skiing, snow-mobiling, sledding and snow-tubing. At the base of Winter Park there is also information about snowshoe and snow-cat tours.

In the summer you will find hiking paths, fishing in nearby streams, golfing, mountain biking, rafting, and....oh, did we mention....just plain relaxing!
